Got An Amazon Return?
Amazon added a label selection for return shipping that uses a QR code. The instructions say to take it to a UPS Store for a quick easy scan and the label is printed for you. HOWEVER that’s only if you take it to The UPS Store (the franchise, which is separate from UPS). Amazon and The UPS Store have managed a proprietary partnership to scan QR codes to produce labels, excluding all other shipping centers.
There’s a work around
Our easy solution to this problem is this:
Already have the QR Code? Cancel the return in Amazon and re-start it.
-
Inaccurate Web Description: Not O.E.M., Not correct size, too short or any other reason the item may not work.
-
Item defective: Does not work or any other defective description.
-
Arrived to Late
-
Missing or broken parts
-
The next page is where you choose where to drop off. Make sure to choose: UPS Dropoff - Box and Label needed. If it doesn’t give you a FREE option with this choice you may need to change the return choice.
-
On the next page you will choose SHARE LABEL, or you can print from home and bring the label with you.
-
On the last page select: Send to a Friend and enter 540ship@gmail.com (We encourage you to also select: Send me a copy). This will email us your shipping label that we will print for you.
-
Lastly bring your item, the package/box it was shipped in, to Ship N Mail Center at 540 Court Street - Port Allen, LA. We will print out your label (Free of charge) and process your package. We have boxes and poly bags that can be purchased if needed.
